The new efficiency standards and directives applicable to three-phase cage induction motors define, among others, efficiency classes ranging from IE1 to IE3 and require only high-efficiency motors to be used from 2011. LEROY-SOMER is already able to supply class IE2 IP55 motors: LSES / FLSES series with aluminium or cast iron frame, from 0.75 to 375 kW, both 2 and 4-pole versions!
